Lighting Hours for Tennis/Pickle Ball Courts Extended

What: Lighting Hours for Tennis/Pickle Ball Courts Extended
Where: Sevierville City Park
When: Effective Immediately

The City of Sevierville Department of Parks and Recreation has announced that it has extended the hours for lighting the tennis/pickleball courts at City Park, allowing more time for play in the morning and evening hours.

The City installed new lights with LED technology provided by MUSCO Sports Lighting in the Fall of 2021. This modern technology provides improved lighting, longer bulb life, lower electricity costs and more efficient programming.

Effective immediately, the lights for the tennis/pickleball courts will be on each morning from 6:00 a.m. until sunrise and will come back on each evening from sunset until 10:00 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE: the tennis/pickleball courts at City Park will be closed on or around June 1, 2022, for repairs. The repairs will take two-four weeks to complete, depending upon weather and other conditions.
