Drinking Water Warning/Boil Advisory Update #2 07-15-22

A drinking water warning/boiling advisory remains in effect for all City of Sevierville Water System customers, and Sevier County Water System customers in the following areas: Sims Road, Flat Creek, Allensville, Lane Hollow, Thomas Cross Road, Boyds Creek, and Jayell Road.

Sevierville Water Systems employees collected multiple water samples yesterday and are awaiting test results. The test results will let us know if there is any contamination in the system. We expect to make an announcement later this afternoon after the test results have been reviewed. New guidance will be provided to customers at that time.

The water treatment plant is operating normally at this time, including the release of treated water into the system. We appreciate the water conservation efforts of our customers during this period.
