FREE Child Car Safety Seat Check Scheduled During National Child Passenger Safety Week

As part of National Child Passenger Safety Week (September 17-23), the Sevierville Police Department is conducting a FREE child car safety seat inspection event on Saturday, September 23 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Sevierville Police Department, 300 Gary Wade Boulevard.

National Night Out Comes to Sevierville October 3

The Sevierville Police Department is hosting their fourth annual National Night Out event on Tuesday, October 3 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. outdoors at the Sevierville Municipal Complex (120 Gary Wade Boulevard). TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Court Avenue Lane Closure

Water and Sewer employees will be repairing a water line today (08/29) and tomorrow (08/30) on Court Avenue. The work will require a partial closure of the Court Avenue northbound lane between Church Street and Joy Street both days from 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Traffic will be maintained, however short term delays are likely, especially during high traffic periods. Motorists should consider an alternate route while work is ongoing.

Sevierville Police Department Schedules FREE Collision Avoidance Training for Young Drivers 2023

In an effort to improve the driving abilities and overall safety of younger drivers, the Sevierville Police Department (SPD) has scheduled a FREE Collision Avoidance Training (CAT) class on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 7:45 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Students will meet at the Sevierville Police Department and then continue the class at the Sevierville Convention Center.

September 4 BMA Meeting Cancelled

The Monday, September 4, 2023 meeting of the City of Sevierville Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BMA) has been cancelled in observance of the Labor Day holiday. The next regular BMA meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Monday, September 18 at the Sevierville Civic Center, 130 Gary Wade Boulevard.
