Attendant I- Bowling Center - Part-Time $15.00 hourly

Salary:            $15.00 per hour + part-time accrued leave after 6 months of employment                 

The City of Sevierville Department of Parks and Recreation is now accepting applications and/or resumes for an Attendant I position to work in the Bowling Center part-time.

Flexible Schedule/Nights and Weekends will be required (20 to 25 hrs. per week)

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Assists customers by telephone and in-person; provides routine information and answers customer questions regarding assigned area; transfers telephone calls to appropriate personnel as required.
  • Prepares departmental equipment for customer use; provides instruction to patrons on the proper use of equipment; performs maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
  • Provides requested services, such as ringing up sales for activities, equipment rental, passes, programs
  • Performs cleaning tasks for assigned areas, such as sweeping floors and lanes, wiping tabletops, or cleaning

 PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires light work involving standing or walking some of the time, exerting up to 20 pounds of force on a regular basis, and moderate dexterity in operating machinery, tools, or office equipment.

SAFETY OF OTHERS: Requires some responsibility for the safety and health of others and/or for occasional enforcement of the standards of public safety or health.
