Police Investigate Reported Armed Robbery

Sevierville Police Department (SPD) officers responded to an alarm early this morning, Friday, November 13, 2015 at EZ Stop, 851 Dolly Parton Parkway. The alarm was received at approximately 1:51AM. According to SPD Officer Edward Diggs, an EZ Stop employee reported that two men entered the store and demanded money. One of the men brandished a knife. The employee complied and the two men left the store with an undisclosed amount of money. They drove away in a dark colored vehicle. No one was injured in the incident.

The two suspects were described as young, thin white males. One was wearing a black beanie that covered his face and brandished a 5" long knife. The other suspect wore a red bandana pulled up over his nose.

Anyone with information pertaining to the identity of either suspect is requested to call SPD Detective Lieutenant Sam Hinson at 865-868-1751. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
