New Traffic Signal to be Operating Soon

The Sevierville Public Works Department announces that the new traffic signal located at the intersection of Highway 416 (Pittman Center Road) and Ernest McMahan Road, is scheduled to be operational soon.

Weather and other conditions permitting, the traffic signal will begin flashing yellow on Hwy. 416 in the next three-five days. The purpose of the flashing yellow period is to alert motorists to the presence of the new traffic signal. The signal will remain in flashing yellow mode on Hwy. 416 until approximately June 30, 2015, at which time it will become fully operational.
