National Night Out Comes to Sevierville in August

Posted 07-26-19.

The Sevierville Police Department is hosting a National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 6 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Sevierville City Park. We will be joined by many of our local partners, including the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office, Pigeon Forge Police Department, Sevierville Fire Department, Sevier County Ambulance Service, Central E-911, Sevier County Emergency Management Agency, Tennessee Highway Patrol, and many more.

National Night Out is an annual nationwide community building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.

The event will include food, kid’s activities, visits from many area mascots, and area public service agencies. Numerous police, fire and other first responder vehicles and equipment will be on display as well.
