Intensive Public Service Worker Coordinator - Temporary full-time

Position: Intensive Public Service Worker Coordinator, TEMPORARY Full-time, Non-Exempt
Department:   Public Works
Salary: $13.64 an hour 

The Public Works Department is now accepting applications and/or resumes for the position of IPS Worker Coordinator for the direct supervision of female court-ordered community service workers. 

Job duties for this position include but are not limited to: coordination of work schedule and direct supervision of female IPS workers, transporting IPS workers to and from the job site, setting up materials, tools and equipment for assignments, preparing written, verbal, and electronic reports, operating a variety of heavy equipment, cleaning, maintaining, and inspecting assigned vehicles.

This position requires a high school diploma, GED, or specialized vocational training.  A valid TN Class Driver’s license and at least 6 months of related experience are required. A background in law enforcement would be beneficial.

Applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.  This position is subject to random drug screens.
