The purpose of this board is to advise City staff and the BMA on parks and recreation matters. The board consists of seven members appointed by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen. The PBA is responsible for overseeing projects pertaining to the City’s Central Business Improvement District (CBID) and related financing. There are eight board members, selected by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen. The members serve staggered six-year terms. Meetings are held as needed at the Civic Center. This eight-member board oversees safe and affordable temporary housing for less fortunate persons and families in our community. This board consists of representatives from the county and each city within the county. Their purpose is to discuss the transportation needs of the county and develop project recommendations to the State of Tennessee. Meeting Schedule: 2nd Wednesday of each month.
